GENEVA (Thomson Financial) - Member nations of the World Trade Organization (WTO) have about a month to outline their points on liberalising world trade before a ministerial meeting is called, WTO director-general Pascal Lamy said.

"That's the objective if they want to finish in 2008" the Doha round of trade liberalisation talks started in 2001 in the Qatar capital, said Lamy during an interview with Agence France-Presse.
