The interdepartmental committee on safeguard measures in foreign trade and customs and tariff policy decided yesterday to lower import duties on foreign planes by half. It is the first implemented measure in the framework of the deal between the RF and the US on Russia 's WTO accession. The benefit will refer to the planes with the occupancy of up to 50 persons, as well as those with the occupancy range of 115-160 persons, taken into operational leasing for the period of three years.
